This club has real possibilities –...

This club has real possibilities – but for the moment, just possibilities. Like several of the other reviewers it had been some time since I had been here and I was curious to see if it had improved since it was taken over by the PT’s chain, so I stopped in one weekday night during their one-year-as-part-of-PT’s-anniversary celebration. The club has been remodeled, with a very nice main stage setup (more on this later), but it was very quiet, with only one stage active and half a dozen customers when I got there. As noted in previous reviews, the waitresses were topless – indeed very nice, more clubs should do this – but there were only two working, and since there were so few customers, they spent most of their time hanging around the bar at the opposite end of the club from the stages, so opportunities to appreciate the view were quite brief. The main stage is closely surrounded by couches and the most of the dancers spent at least of third of their time off the stage and on the couches giving essentially non-private lap dances with high contact and grindage – very nice. But there were only five not very stunning dancers while I was there, ranging from 3 to 7 and mostly very heavily pierced and tattooed (one of the dancers might have a hard time going through an airport metal detector). The private dance area has the same high back “cubbies” as other PT’s clubs, and they are arranged in a manner that gives lots of privacy – nice, but the lighting is terrible. The room has a central chandelier which with the mirrored walls gives a very glaring light. So during the private dances, I could see my dancer’s silhouette, but not much else – the views were much better out at the main stage. And although the privacy was good, all of the private dances I got were all strictly limited customer contact, unlike at the other Denver PT’s clubs.

So Centerfolds could be one of Denver’s best strip clubs if they had more and prettier dancers with fewer tattoos and piercings, encouraged the (topless) waitresses to hang out at the stage end of the club, fixed the lighting in the private dance room, and encouraged the dancers to relax a little during their lap dances.

Good potential, but not there yet.
