Visited recently on a couple of Monday afternoons. The first time, the club was very quiet, almost dead with just a handful of customers. Quality of dancers was quite a bit lower than in the past. The 2nd time, on St. Pat's day the club was much busier and the dancers much better. Beer now costs $8.80 (it used to be 7.70). The cute waitress pointed out that no one was drinking Guiness on St. Pats. day. I switched, for a dollar more. The Camelot is much, much better than other DC clubs. It is always good for a couple of pleasant beers. Food is fairly good, too. No smoking in DC clubs anymore. The Camelot is clean. The dancers and bar staff are very attractive if a bit impersonal. Dancers dance three songs, get naked and accept tips in their garter. After dancing they come around dressed to tables for another $1 tip.
