Wow! New manager, Dave (the owner)...

Wow! New manager, Dave (the owner) faded into the background, nice (if medium attractive) girls - seems like a recipe for success. I dropped in to see Kimmy (the female daytime bartender) early last week, and the place was lookin' good at mid-afternoon. A year ago, you could have talked the bartender into dancing yourself, just to have someone on the stage. I've always thought the Flamingo had a lot of potential, and seeing good things happen gives me a warm feeling down there (the Flamingo is in the basement of the old Gaiety theater). One of my favorite places to spend a few afternoon hours.
