Recently, I stopped by Scarlett's at Ybor Strip for the first time. I had a couple of hours to kill before a flight. I arrived a little after noon and stayed until nearly 3. The cover was $10 but there was a coupon in the local Creative Loafing for $5 off. The club consists of one main stage with two poles surrounded by a number of small tables. Along the outer walls on one side were a few VIP booths and a couple of door ways along the outer walls lead to the private dance areas. Along one wall was the non-alcoholic bar. This is a totally nude club. There were about 5-7 customers and 5-7 dancers in the place when I arrived. Typically 1-3 customers were tipping along the rail. The dancers were doing 2 to 3 song sets. The stage work was good in particular Sara, Julia, and Angie. Tampa is noted for the full contact, full nude dances. Dances were $10 for the room and $20 a song. All the girls mentioned this was a nice club to work and a place with much less hustle than other Tampa clubs. This being said there was much more hustle than in Denver area clubs. But it was not bitchy hustle. Every girl asked if I wanted a dance but were pleasant to even after my rejection. Maybe if there were a few more customers the hustle would've been less. I had dances from 4 girls.
