Everytime I go to Big Al's, I have a guaranteed good time. It did get a lot more mainstream back in 2005 when the combined with several bars in the building, but that just made it more accessible and more lively. The girls are friendly, and will interact with you, as much as you want (or don't want). The girls vary in looks, but there's always a couple that'll work for you.

The dances are usually around 20 dollars, but they're friction lap dances in a more "private area" in the back, and they're pretty good. The girls will guide you as to what you can do, and if you're a good tipper, well, who knows?

The club has two areas. The main area is the smaller one open during slower hours, with a main stage and a side stage. There's floor and bar seating and a back "vip" dancer area. When it's busier, they open up the much larger second room that also has a bigger main stage and side stage with tons of seating. On many nights, these areas connect to other bars on the street with 1 cover covering all the bars/clubs together. This club is a highlight of peoria, and if you visit the area, it's really a must go.
