This is my review of the NEW Carl's ... I waited several months to see if I would like it as much as the OLD Carl's. I was a fan of the former and thought it to be well-kept secret for those who frequented this bar near O'Hare Airport. The new bar was built right next door ( kinda like your old stadium sitting next to the newer version with the Corporate Suites and higher Ticket prices. Since most of you are more interested in "getting your Jimmy waxed" than me waxing nostalgia over old times, here 'tis ...

VENUE

Big cavernous room which would remind some of you of the old Fern bars of the 80's. Modular, lots of wood, sterile and cold. Yea the washrooms are something to marvel. There were at least seven urinals and three stalls. Won't have a long wait to take a piss. What's more surprising on a Friday evening, was the ONLY F'n Bartender was the buxom and self-absorbed DEJA (former dancer) who can take her own time in getting you a beer out of the cooler and opening it for you. They used to do short-order cooking for you at the old joint. Not even a hint of anything here, other than to microwave something for you. Of course she's MTB ( much-too-busy ) to even get you a beer. So I assume that the plumbing enhancements are for people coming in off the road to take a piss.
