I went back here last night...

I went back here last night after about a year away. It was a Friday night. Arrived a little after nine. It was approaching being packed already. It was a huge damn party inside, honestly. There were at least three dozen girls working the room, and I spent very little time sitting around waiting to be approached. The girls were fun and good spirited. Any "hustle" was good natured and didn't cross the line to annoying. Honestly, this place really is the tops in Phoenix in my opinion. It's just got a real momentum and party gravity to it. My favorite layout and decor of any club anywhere except for possibly the way the Admiral Theater used to be, in Chicago, where I kinda got started down this terrible, terrible hobby.

$10 topless LDs at your seat. Last night VIP was running basically like $250 for the bottle and $250 per hour for the dancer. VIP couches are good. I went in committed not to do VIP but I got talked into it by about the fifth dancer I did LDs with. So, I did feel a bit like a jackass, after the fact, for not sticking to my budget. I told her before we went up that my main complaint with the VIP areas at Christie's Phoenix and Christie's Tempe is that it seems like half the time gets spent with them sitting next to you chatting and sipping champagne. She said, "not me." And she basically kept her word.

Christie's runs an interesting blend, where like 85% of the girls are basically perfect or close to it, and then you're kinda scratching your head about the other 15%, thinking, "really?" If you've been there, I think you'll know what I mean.
