Finally made it in after far...

Finally made it in after far too long...the club is across the street from the vacant lot where it was before. Entering the club, it looked very similar, except everything looked newer, or at least cleaner. Same mermaid statue overlooking everything, same mirrors, still had the sound booth tucked away over the bathrooms...which were amazingly clean. The club still had that old school small square stage with the long bar, most of which not conducive to tipping. I went in the day time, mostly 3's and 4's, not very attractive, not particularily aaggressive either. I couldn't have gotten the old fashioned company drink if it still existed. I didn't see room for table dances so unless they were really close, gyrating dances, I have to assume the emphasis is still on buying bottles, and the bottles seemed smaller and from the price list I saw far more expensive. Beer was about the same, basically not much has changed. I want to come back at night. Kinda lame. disappointing and different to not even be nostaligic, just a lame club trying to harken back to a past that doesn't want it anymore.

Bummer.
