The Sands is no longer the sleazy looking dump it once was. The owners spent a bit of money to upgrade the facilities, adding a new bar and new furniture. It is located off a busy street with plenty of parking on side streets.

In order to make money the establishment sells non alcoholic drinks at a huge mark up. You can get away with buying one since, let's face it, that's not why you are here. I went in on a weekday afteroon to find about 5 customers and an equal number of dancers. The variety of the talent is on the low side if you are expecting young dancers from Ricks or some of the other area clubs. However, if you get the right feeling from a gal it is usually best to sample her dance before you let her take you around the corner into the VIP where its a $40 min. The girls here are far more likely to negotiate than Ricks gals, perhaps due to the fact that there is no heat on this club. I was able to negotiate what I wanted, plenty of hands on attention, for $120 from a busty mid-twenties blonde.

The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and dark and in my opinion this is an underrated spot. Been here 3 times in the last few months and the offers are consistent and the service is good and private.
