Well, this place really seems to...

Well, this place really seems to have gone downhill. I have sometimes stopped by here on the drive from New England to NYC, as it is very easy to get to right off I95. I haven't stopped by in a few years having switched over to Beamers in Stamford as a more upscale alternative along my route. However, Beamers only opens later in the day, so finding myself passing by around noon I decided to try Ruby's again. I have, in previous years, had some very nice high mileage laps there. When I walked in I couldn't believe how smokey the place was already and only at noon. This is definitely a no-no if you then have to face a SO some time later without a trip to the health club for a shower and a change of clothes. Also, the talent at the beginning of the day was pretty awful. Way below average, and surprisingly not a single dancer who I might want to d a private with. I have int he past seen some really attractive Eastern European or Latina dancers here, but on this day it was not the case. I may try them again someday if I'm really pushed, but not likely.
