I was in Big D over...

I was in Big D over the weekend with the family. Dropped them off at the Galleria mall for some shopping and decided I wanted to do some personal shopping of my own. After reading about the Lodge on TUSCL I decided to check it out, after all it is ranked #6 on the Top 40 List!! I was the second customer thru the door when they opened at 11:00 AM on Saturday morning. The Lodge is the epitomy of a Gentlemans Club, dark woods and hunting lodge motif, very nicely done. Only a $ 2.00 cover on Saturday morning. I sat at the bar for about 30 minutes with some regulars and some of the dancers who were eating lunch before they went to work. The food here is very good! There was nobody dancing but the minute I moved from the bar to a table in front of the main stage the DJ called for a girl to get ready. I was only able to stay for 5 dancers but they were all well worth the visit. Two of which (Mia, a charming hispanic and Tatum, an all American Goddess) both came and sat with me after their stage performances. I cannot say enough nice things about these two girls, both just sat and talked and neither even asked for a private dance. I finally explained to both that my time was limited and I had to pick up the family soon. Tatum continued to sit and visit until I regretfully had to leave. This place is big but not quite as large as I expected, but I did not check out the humidor, the wine cellar, or the members only VIP area upstairs. Drinks were expensive, $ 6.25 Amstel Light, $ 6.00 bottled water, but this is to be expected at a high end Gentlemans Club like this. And as I mentioned the food is also very good and the food is reasonably priced. Lunch crowd on Saturday was mainly older gentlemen who looked like they were just spending the day at the "club". Great place, I would love to go back at a time when I can spend some quality time with the girls.
