Went to Babe's on Saturday night...

Went to Babe's on Saturday night about 10:30. The cover is $7.00 and beer is $3.00. The club was full but not packed, and it appeared that about a third of the crowd consisted of civilian girls. The girls in the audience were probably better looking than the girls on stage. It looked like there were maybe ten girls dancing, varying from four to seven. Half of them could drop ten to fifteen pounds and not hurt themselves at all. The dancers who were not on stage mostly were sitting with regulars. At least on this visit, there were very few mexicans, otherwise the crowd was a good mix of blacks and whites. Management appears to be pretty strict, as even though the girls are wearing pasties, one dancer who came off stage between songs had to put her top on again.
