Visited Playhouse again last night and some things fortunately retain their high quality. Your visit begins with the negatives; mandatory paid valet parking, paid coatcheck and cover charge but consider it an investment that will return a profit soon enough. Seating is stageside, at tables just bak from the stage or at the bar. Tables are the best especially if you are here for dinner which I ALWAYS am. The food is excellent and reasonably priced (your first 'return on your investment'). The waitresses are not overly pushy for dancer drinks when you are lucky enough to have one of the lovelys at your side. The dancers typically do 2 songs at the East end of the stage, topless by the end of the second, then 2 more at the West end. Dancers range from 6 to 10 in my tough grading scale with a significant amount of enhancement but within tasteful bounds. While your opinion will vary, you'll virtually never see a dancr who makes you think "she needs to find a different lob". Laps are in a raised area at the West end of the room near the door; a major improvement a year or 2 ago was the addition of partitions making the dance benches into booths. First timers can get pretty good milage but once you're a regular it can get much better with the right girl. Overall one of the best clubs around in my opinion; I never miss the chance for good food and great dancers when I'm in the Motor City area!
