Got in for a Sunday afternoon...

Got in for a Sunday afternoon on a recent weekend trip to Houston. Very very very few girls were working, though I did find two who would fill the bill by providing the type of service and ambiance and attitude I knew that I was looking for, when I decided to go there. There's a new "smoking patio" (I learned the hard way that there is a new no smoking ordinance for all of Houston's establishments) which the owners can't quite yet finish because of pending certifications and stuff from city bureaucracies. Otherwise everything was pretty much the same as last time I visited, almost two years ago. The number of gals was scant -- maybe six or ten, in mid-afternoon, but it was a mid-month Sunday. Manager said he had a hard time getting girls to come in at that time since they'd done so well with other conventioneers just before the 1st of the month, as is the typical dancer trajectory. Anyway, me and Mr. Willie were happy. The prices are silly high, and although you can negotiate a bit for a price that might seem more reasonable for the things you're going to get, you still won't get them down to what a more tailor-made establishment would charge you. In fact, I kind of enjoy the thrill of the chase, the fact that I can observe and perhaps sample the merchandise before I complete the transaction, and the fact that there's not really a time limit for how long I have to stay in the building. You can just hang at the bar and watch basketball if there are no hot girls around available, and that's really no skin off my back at all. It was roughly two Bens for what the wind does. You can probably lower it if you try hard, or hit the place at a different time when the girls really are motivated to do business.
