I agree with most that the previous poster has stated. There are a handful of these kinds of clubs in Downtown Los Angeles. And the tradition goes back probably to the 30's, when it was more like a dime a dance instead of 50 cents per minute. This is, without a doubt, the best of the clubs. There is a wide assortment of girls, not just Hispanic. And you are likely to see different girls on different nights. Much like at strip clubs, your mileage will vary. The best strategy for this uncertainty is, if the girl is not very cordial and cozy right from the get-go, cut your losses and check her out. No sense wasting time and money. You need to be choosy, and you can generally find what you're looking for. You won't find stunning women here. But you can find some very nice-looking and friendly ones, if you are patient. The advantage is that it's lot cheaper than a night at the strip club if you dance a lot. And given that it's LA, you'll probably do better here than at most strip clubs in the area.
