Yesterday was Wingbowl. For those of you outside the mid-Atlantic states, it's a wing eating contest in it's 16th year that is held in a large sports arena. It attracts 35000 people at 6am in the morning. Car, trucks and motorcycles are given away to contestants and wingettes--many of whom are local strippers, who add eye candy to the event. The real news is that all the local strip clubs open early in the AM and serve breakfast to the hordes of guys who come in at 9 in the morning. I went to the Oasis after the event and got a good seat at the bar This is a pretty big place, but by 10am was filled to capacity and guys were lined up to get in and the perking lot was overflowing They must have had 50 or more girls working and this is a day when they can make plenty just from dollars while working the crowd. $10 to get in got you all you could eat. Beers were the usual 5-6. The lap dance room which is big and semi private was filled all morning. I had a great time at the bar and lots of pretty girls stopped buy chatted me up for awhile and were happy with a buck or two before moving on. With a ban in smoking now in place, it made for a pleasant morning. No dances for me this time,but I know who I'll look up next time. I spent about $60 and it was worth every penny. This continues to be the best club in the Phila area for a strip club experience
