As I pointed out in another post, my work in New York is beginning to taper off a little. It comes and goes. I may not be able to visit the NY clubs much, if at ll, for a while. Then, I'll be back there full force. Bew York seems to be the only place I keep going back to again and again, especially for long periods. I do get to travel a lot to other parts of the country and other countries too, but I'm usually making a lot of short trips when I am between gigs in NY.

With that said, I think Ricks moved up on my list quite a bit on this last little NY stretch. The location isn't great for me sometimes though; and that is part of why I have tended to do other clubs a bit more often than Rick's. I do want to try to get back there once or twice more if I do ed up being out of NY for a while.

From the doorman, to the coat check, to the waitresses, to the dancers, this place makes you feel at home. I just wish stage tipping were better, and I have gotten a little hooked on the clubs that have two or more girls on the same stage together much of the time.
