Perhaps it was a bad night,...

Perhaps it was a bad night, or maybe it was just because it was a weeknight, but my only experience at The Pony was average at best. Interesting layout with the main stage running along the center of the room, but it made for easier access on either of the ends or when the girl was dancing in the middle. Two VIP areas on either side closed off but with windows. One had the curtains open and the other side was shut.

The atmosphere was so-so, the girls seemed disinterested in coming over to talk, and the ones that did wanted to push immediately for VIP. The selection was not great, but somewhat of a mixture of ethnicities and looks. Anywhere from a 2 to a 7 or 8 on the looks scale. I know the girls are there to make money, but the hustle factor is a quick turnoff for me. No offense, but I'd rather warm up to a girl first before I go and drop serious $$. But all that aside, not a bad club. In the post-PP world of Memphis, it's probably one of the better ones.

I got two VIP dances, one was with a girl who was very pushy, the other was with a super hottie. The mileage was OK with full contact to a point, but no extras. Would I go back? Probably, until I find a better Memphis club or the laws get changed to make the SCs no fun.
