Last Thursday evening, I was out along Rt.1 and stopped by the Caberet which was dead dead dead so I decided to go across the street to the newly reopened Golden Banana. The parking lot was fairly full and the place was busy inside. For those who had been to the GB before, this new version is hardly recognizable. The place is very upscale inside with a nice clean rug, lounge type seating and very nice/upscale decor. All the help were dressed in nice tuxedos or similar. The place resembles Ten's in Salisbury in many ways inside. Drinks were a little on the pricey side ($6 for a beer) but served by a very cute nicely dressed barmaid. As the place was quite busy it unfortunately had a very sterile feel inside. The stage was not very well lit and for whatever reason seemed very far away from the bar. The girls I saw dancing were almost all attractive being a 7+. There were a few dancers roaming around floor but most seemed to be conversing with each other. Even though this place seemed to be modeled after Ten's, I find Tens a much more comfortable to place to watch pretty girls take their clothes off. In defense of this newly opened establishment, I was at the club between 7:30 and 8PM which in not necessarily a hopping time at any SC so that may have had something to do with the low energy feeling inside the club so it may well be worth another shot. That been said, other than the naked girls on stage (and the obligatory guy in the men's room looking for tips) , I very easily could have been at the Hardcover Lounge (an upscale bar/restaurant just up the street) as a strip club.
