I dunno, maybe I'm going through...

I dunno, maybe I'm going through a 'phase' in life; it's been since last summer since I paid a visit to a 'popular' club like this one and although the experience was 'good' I did not feel much excitement. There were energetic and enthusiastic stage dances, lots of pretty girls making the circuit and being friendly enough while enticing you to come back for dances but I left with a sense that I had just spent some time and a decent amount of money and yet feel as uninspired as I did just before walking in. I am not a hardcore strip club patron so I don't think I should be at a level where I am burned out or tired of visiting but there is something about the clubs that have a lot of flash and 'formality' that is left wanting with regard the experience. I don't intend to 'rag' on Oasis as I cant say I had a 'bad' time, everything went as the general script says it should but I had no racing pulse or particular desire to return.

This is kind of a strange post because I don't mean for it to be negative as my experience there was not a negative one, there were lots of pretty girls, everyone was friendly so what more can you ask for right? I just left kind of "blah.." is it stip-club burnout? I am not a frequent goer, but have been going for 10-years or so so perhaps it just that I'm too familiar with them? Maybe the fantasy is over who knows...

So far as it goes, Oasis is a friendly and inviting place, parking is easy and has a laid back feel to it which I do appreciate. I have been to places that feel like a total hustle and that gets old and irritating very quick, those are the types of place that only ever get my patronage once, who knows if i get my second wind and someone introduces a new twist and comes out with something new and exciting in the SC scene I'll give oasis another visit. fingers crossed for now.
