MGII is, in all honesty, one of the clubs I keep promising myself I won't go back to. Problem is, I drive by fairly frequently. It's there. Something in the back of my mind says "Really, it can't have been as dull as you remember it." But that's the key word: dull. Take away the topless women -- which wouldn't be difficult early in the evening, since there are frequent stretches where only one or fewer are visible -- and you could have a nice neighborhood bar. On a number of occasions there have been more people around the bar at the front than the stage at the back. Which isn't surprising, since there's usually a game to look at up front. The food isn't bad, either. When the occasional young (well, younger than I) lady makes an appearance on stage, it's generally a dollar dance that's all about distance and buttocks, which is great if you're into that, particularly since some -- not all -- of the talent have lower centers of gravity than ... oh, I'm being cruel. After all, I'm not getting out there and spreading 'em for a couple of bucks. Nor should I. Nor should some of ... no, I'm being mean again.
