This is a small, midtown manhattan club, the "little sister" of Flashdancers. Flash gets most of the really hot girls, but they send a few over to Private Eyes when Flash is over-booked. Perhaps because they are just a half block off the "beaten path" they don't get the tourists like Flash. I visited recently after work and they had about 10 women working. A new crew started to arrive about 6. There was a 5.00 cover, and a one drink minimum. Drinks are expensive, though ($11 for a beer!). Its $20 for a dance, done on couches right in the open next to the stage. One would think this limits the contact, but its pretty high level stuff. There is some pressure to go to their rather expensive champagne room, where I understand some of the girls provide "extras". One told me straignt out that if I went with her we could have a contest as to who could make the other come first. They have the usual ethnic assortment...a few Russians, a few hispanics, one or two black women. All kinds of body types, from skinny and flat to think and busty. About half have boob jobs, if you like big ones. There are usually two girls on stage for 3 song sets, first song with gown on, second and third with g-string only. If you sit at the rail you are expected to tip a dollar to each girl. If you sit yourself at a table you can watch and tip only if you like someone. Be prepared to say no to lots of "wanna dance" types roaming around. A good time, though expensive in midtown.
