I went here during the day...

I went here during the day on a recent trip to Portland. In daylight at least, the neighborhood didn't seem as bad as indicated in some other reviews. The club itself was dingy and dark, without a lot of class, but certainly with character. Only about 4 other customers were there, and two dancers. There were several video poker machines, and a wall full of classic erotic photos and such.

The first dancer was a lovely small-breasted young woman with plenty of spunk and great moves, but with a rather distracted look in her eyes. She made little effort to engage the customers. The second dancer was less attractive, and had an even more vacant look.

After the first dancer finished her set, she leaned out over the stage to tell off a guy sitting at the bar for not tipping. There are signs all over the place that say things like 'if you're not tipping, you're stealing', and 'this area reserved for tipping customers'. The guy in question tipped a buck then left shortly thereafter.
