Went there on Monday night around...

Went there on Monday night around 12:30. Door entry fee $5, and beer is $6. There is no need to tip the doorman. Each dance is $10. this place is deserted, with only a couple dancers and customers. One thin French-Canadian lady came up and chatted with me, so I asked her for a dance, but said I would like to have only one song. She said OK, but then asked me to sit until a song started to go into the VIP room. By the time we sit down, it's already halfway into the song. I think it's a ploy to get the customer to buy more songs. The VIP room is like an office with cubicles. She said there are surveillance cameras everywhere. She dances about 1 foot away from me (is this a rule for montreal clubs?), and I had to stretch out my arms to touch her. It was not very fun.
