Well, after not being there for...

Well, after not being there for about 12 years, I went in Saturday night to meet a friend. Average club in appearance. Valet parking out front (always makes me laugh, like that makes it a "classy joint", self park in the back, well lit. Rediculous price to get in, all things considered, $5. Inside, many girls, big, small, none who one might consider "fat" at all. The girls seem mid-20's, and average. None really stand out, except the well-tattooed waitress. Couldn't even tell you what my waitress looked like. The music just plain sucked. Too loud, and even worse a considerable amount of distortion. Basic black hip-hop music, rap, whateever that crap is called. The music gave the club a cheap gangsta feel. It was music totally opposite from what the clientele would match up with. Felt safe on the inside, this place doesn't seem too bad, though a friend that has been in this business for ten plus years refers to the Yellow Rose as a whorehouse. My 25 plus years spending money in these places didn't get that feel, but it is a mis-match of music and setting for the people they ahve walking through the front door. Last comment is regarding the drinks. Average, nothing special, but a drink is a drink. They got my Cuba Libre right, so I'm content. My friends had shots and beer. Prices for four drinks, three shots one beer was $26. You figure from there though my Goldslagher seemed a bit weak.

Will I go back? Probably not, mainly due to the music type and loudness/distortion.
