I decided to stop by this...

I decided to stop by this club for a few hours a last Saturday. The building is a large and impressive 2 club/1 shop hybrid with all of them in the same building, everything all very new and clean and nice. The club itself seems fairly high-class, but not so high-class I felt I be wearing a suit and tie. Unfortunately, every time I've been there the crowd has seemed pretty subdued. Not that I miss dealing with drunken assholes, but it would be nice if people cheered a bit or got into without needing DJ encouragement. If anyone were to feel uncomfortable in there it probably wouldn't be due to the environment or audience. But it might be due to the way they push the dances on you.

Like clockwork, after two on stages acts finish the red lights come on and the dancers come out of the dressing asking everyone our favorite two words, "Wanna dance?" So basically you can count on being asked to buy a lapdance by around 10 different girls every 15 minutes or so. This made it a bit difficult on me, poor college boy I am, as I only had enough cash for 1 or 2 last time I went. My advice is to either bring at least $100 a trip, or stop caring if you look like a cheapskate. Unfortunately, both options are difficult for me.

As for the girls, the Vu's slogan held true. The club was packed with 8's, 9's and 10's with two token 4's thrown in. And, aside from pushing the dances, everyone of them I talked to was nice enough. The only hint of hustle I got was a dancer telling me about a car accident she had been in the day before and how she needed money for the doctor and repairs, but considering the way she was limping around all night and not dancing on stage I think that was probably legit.
