The best time to go to Sugar Bares is on friday or saturday night around midnight. More girls show up around that time and it gets really crowded. The BYOB is a total rip off. SB owns the bar which is literally next door and you can have some drinks there. There is usually a food vendor selling fried fish and BBQ outside which is a plus if you missed dinner. The table dances are OK, the private dances are OK, the "aqua room" is a rip off. The stage entertainment is usually good with the help of the DJ who may or may not annoy you to tip the dancers. The club plays rap music only and the clientele reflects that. Overall it's worth going every once in a while. And it is true that you need to be careful and watch your back when you leave.
