After looking at my review before my previous review, I want to set the record straight about this place. I got a few facts wrong, and I've left out many other things about BJ's you should know.
When you enter through the game room filled with pool tables, pinball machines and darts, a bouncer at the top of the steps to the bar and stage will check your ID. This is just a bar, so one of the best parts of this place is there will never be a cover. And also because it's a bar, alcoholic drinks are strong and all drinks are cheaper than at a strip club. They'll heat up a pizza for you if you're hungry. If you just want some chips, they have a vending machine. And if you just want to hang out and not tip the dancers, that's OK, too.
There are four shifts a day: 12-3, 3-6, 6-9, and 9 till they close at around 12:45 (on Sundays, however, there is no 12-3 shift). Theoretically at :00, :15, :30 and :45 of each hour, each of the four strippers per shift pick their music on the jukebox just outside their dressing room and the men's room (the jukebox is for dancers only) and gets onstage to dance for her 15 minutes. For some reason, two dollars is a minimum stage tip; a buck is considered gratitude here and you'll get no more than a thank you. The dancers range from 4-9 and they trend to the older, for many of them are moms whose schedules have to be flexible. However, there are just as many hot MILF's as there are hotties in their twenties. Lap dances are out in the open on one of the many plastic, hard-back chairs, and they're $20, no more, no less.
