Been a few months since I reviewed "the Bird" so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in for all to admire. Overall, I would say that things have improved in recent months. For those tracking such things, the dancers seem to have gotten younger, thinner and cuter and there seem to be more of them on a more consistent basis. Still plenty of "old favorites" and one of the friendliest and most attractive wait staffs around. It is odd but some of the best looking dancers work the day shift though a number of the ladies are now working a 4-10 shift which helps prevent the place from just emptying out after 6 PM. Place has a pretty good (and cheap) lunch which is served until 2 PM and usually draws a pretty good lunch crowd, many of whom appear to be there just to eat. Evenings can be a little slow around here except for

Fridays and Saturdays when the place can be pretty happening. It is very "couple-friendly" and you do see a lot of them here on the weekends. Same deal with the VIP room at $10 and $20 per dance but I've noticed a lot more dances in the main room lately and these are only $10. Most of the girls will use the back area by the (rarely used) 2nd stage for these and my (limited) experience is that the mileage is pretty good here. Tipping is very much appreciated for the less-expensive, less-private dances and will likely ensure that the lady sticks around for a while.

The traditional knock on this place is that, while it is a great place to be a "regular," unknown guests are often left sitting alone without any attention. This is still more common here than in a larger club because the number of dancers can be pretty small some times, particularly in the early evenings. On the other hand, most of the newer dancers seem more prone to "hustle" and that is a good sign for the "non-regular" visitor. All told, it is clear that I really do like this place and that no doubt colors my reviews. This place is not, by any means, a "gentleman's club" and most of the dancers are more of the hot girl-next-door than model perfect. I think that makes them a bit friendlier and more approachable but others may prefer the more plastic look and they should know that's not what they'll get here.
