Stopped in early 6:30 Sat before Christmas. Maybe that was too early. There were very few customers, mostly locals, fortunately no college boys or lawyers. It's that kind of place. But I really don't like being the only customer at the stage. Tipping at the stage is "Mandatory." They weren't merciless, but still... One curious note at the stage. They have always been pretty strict about (not) touching the girls while at the tip rail, which has, in the past, been gently enforced by each dancer. No problem, laws are laws and they have always been polite about it. But this time, after my first dancer at the rail, when I reached under the rail for my tip, I was approached and warned by the house gorilla. Again no problem, but definitely not necessary. Perhaps they are under more LE scrutiny. Penna is that kind of place. Most of the dancers stayed with the regulars, they seemed bored and boring. And I was starting to feel the same way myself. Which IS unusual for me at J's. Anyway, I went back for a three song with with one of the regular girls, a little heavier than I like, but much more engaging than all of the rest. So I thought there might be some hope. $50 for 3 and matching tip. Nice, but not worth it. She wasn't even close to thinking of any unusual ways to earn that (upfront) tip. Maybe the aforementioned scrutiny?? Shot about an hour and a half and about $150. Nothing special. Most of the dancers weren't bad looking, the stage dances were above average.
