Admittedly, I haven't been at the Brass Flamingo in a couple of years. But based on previous experiences I have to express my huge disappointment on this trip. I arrived around 7pm and was greeted by the very gregarious doorman/bouncer. He was probably the only good thing about my visit. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a dirty martini…no olives! What's up with that? Strike one. I continued to peruse the ladies, but just couldn't see anyone that caught my attention. And on top of that, I think the lighting in this place must be very unflattering since I didn't see any girl that would rate higher than a 5. Quality seems to have declined significantly. Strike two. Finally, I normally don't have much trouble engaging at least one lady in some conversation, but in this experience not a single one stopped to ask what my situation was or how I was doing. Apparently, the broke, local regulars rate higher than us out-of-towners with a wad of cash. No conversation in an hour…strike three! I got up and left for Dancers across town.
