Went to Pink Pony for the first time two weekends ago on a Sunday afternoon. I have been going to Tootsie's recently and wanted to get back to the smaller atmosphere as I prefer small quaint clubs to giant mega clubs. I came in to grab a drink and watch some football in the early afternoon and there were only 5 girls working, ranging in looks from about 3 to 6.5. The girls here come around after every dance and ask for tips here, even when you are having a conversation which I find a little annoying. Anyway, this one Colombian girl comes up to me and asks for a dance so I say ok to see how the dances are here. She appeared to be a little more mature, mid 30's or higher. Anyway, this is what gets me about this club, to have a private friction dance, you have to give the doorman who guards the area $25 in addition to the costs of your dance, another rip off. Once I get back there, the girl tells me that there is a three song minimum (absolute bs) at $25 per song or $150 for FS for 30 minutes. I had no interest in fs with this particular chica so I opted for the three songs which I figured would be active considering the other option that she proposed, but I was wrong, it was the most boring $75 dance that I ever had, no grind, touch or extras. I would like to go back to this place a little later to get a better sense. Now that I know extras are available at that $, it may be well worth it to go if you find the right girl.
