My friend and I were visiting...

My friend and I were visiting NYC for a week in mid October '07. Since we had a blast the last time we visited a SC in New York (See my review of CityScape dated September 14, 2007) we decided to find another club to hit up. After reading all the reviews of clubs on TUSCL we decided it would be a waste of time going to one of those Manhattan clubs (eventhough our hotel was in Manhattan). I'm not into the silicone-Euro look with low mileage and high hustle. So I picked out Sin City Cabaret. The reviews and its website sold me. The website advertised a "Kama Sutra Night" for that very evening. So it was a no brainer.

The club is located in the Bronx. It's the first stop into the Bronx taking the 4 or 5 train (I think). We went kinda late, around 11:00pm. We didn't know where we were going and the place was in a not so desirable neighborhood. So when we got off the train, I called the club and got directions. Lucky for us it was only one block away from the train station. 5 minutes later we're in. The cover was $20 each and there's the standard metal detector security check. When you first go in, there's a small booth to the left called the "Sin City Bank" where you can get change for the evening. To the right is a bar with a small circular pole stage immediately in front of it. The main floor area had a large stage in the middle surrounded by many smaller tables. There were also booths in the back to the right and another smaller pole stage near the back.

When we went in, we saw a BUNCH of dudes hanging out in the bar area. There were even less sitting at the tables and there were about 2 or 3 girls on stage. With so many people hanging out near the bar, we thought you had to pay extra to go sit in the chairs or something. One of the many beautiful waitresses assured us that was not the case and seated us. I must say this club had the finest waitresses I have ever seen at a club. They EASILY could of been dancers.
