The place is small, drab, and...

The place is small, drab, and poorly ventilated. The bar has no beer on tap, only bottles. The music is hip hop, and not overly loud. Except for the mural in the VIP area, wall decorations are beer posters and mirrors, but the mirrors are cracked and held together by duct tape. I guess they ran out of posters. The vinyl benches are in worse condition than the mirrors. Other than the one stage (with railing), entertainment is a pool table and two TVs set to Spanish language television. There seems to be way too many men working there for the number of customers and dancers. In short, the ambiance is scary.

So why do I give this place a better than average rating? Mileage. The dancers, all Black, all natural, take their time in a relaxed, friendly way that I’m just not used to. The dances are $10 minimum, and are far more intimate than I’ve received in the fancier places around Phoenix. No one tried to scam me, and when I said “no” to the VIP area, the women didn’t get weird about it.

I’ll be back, but I won’t be a regular because, like I said, the place is scary.
