This was my favorite club in Providence for the longest time. Tucked away in the middle of the downtown area, this place had the relaxed atmosphere of a regular bar with the added bonus of half-naked women wandering around the place. But I hadn't been here in a very long while until I found myself in downtown Providence one lunchtime with an hour to kill. I thought I'd see if the club was still open, and the good news is that it is. But that is about it for good news. Admittedly it was lunchtime (Friday lunchtime) but for the half an hour or so that I was there, I was one of only two customers. There were about three girls working, who would do their bit on the stage, then disappear out of the club again when they were done. They seemed pretty enough, but not very interested in spending time with the customers. The bartender had a friendly smile, but the manager guy just stomped around barking orders and making me feel distinctly unwelcome. I still have a soft spot for this place, due to all the good times that I've had here, but right now, this is somewhere to avoid.
