After a quick visit to the Deja Vu in the City of Industry on a Friday night, I decided to make an impromptu visit to Synn. I arrived at around 12:00 midnight to come across a pretty small parking lot shared by a Yoshinoya beef bowl and a hispanic bar. The lot was packed but I was not ready to give the shady valet guy the keys to my truck. I drove around and even found the adjacent parking lot pretty full. I figure that the cars there were because of the club. I was hesitant to park there too and circled around to the club's lot again. Luckily, I found someone backing out a spot and waited patiently as I claimed it.

Here is a funny story as I enter the front door: four girls who were attempting to enter the club pulled me and a guy who stepped outside for a smoke aside stating that the doorguy would not allow them entrance if they were not accompanied by four other men. It didn't matter who. Just that it was four other men. I was happy to oblige but the doorguy wasn't fooled. Since they only found two guys (including me) to escort them inside, the other two were saying to forget it and to go somewhere else. OK, now these chicks were holding me up. I told the cutest one of the group, that if she wants to go in, she better let me know now. Then I heard the doorguy say that I would be responsible for this chick and that I would need to be with her at all times inside the club. After hearing that, I gave the chick a raised eyebrow look and apologized. She completely understood and told me to have fun and that she would see me inside. I would eventually see the same girls later as they were hanging out with random guys. I am not sure what the club's policy is on women visiting the club as a group. I say that if they have money to spend, what's the big deal?

I stroll in and a found the place much more crowded than DVCOI where I was just at a few minutes earlier. I think that the smaller confines had something to do with that. At the same time, I enjoyed the interior. It has that same Las Vegas-style strip club theme with the columns and fiery red lettering. At initial glance, I found it quite classy. Not knowing where to sit, I ran across one of the dancers at another local club who I know quite well. She was picking up an extra shift that night. We were pretty excited to run across one another as she did not know anyone there and that was my first time there as well. So she latched on to me and guided me around to find at least one chair. We found one off to the side of the stage and she parked her perfect little ass right on my lap so we can chat for a bit. She said she was pretty tired but had to be there until 2:00am.
