A decent lower-cost option in Memphis
After about a year of visiting other clubs, I decided to give Candyland a try again. They have continued to make some improvements to the physical club inside. Now they actually have decent chairs, and actual stage and they have installed a new larger flat screen. I visited on a Wednesday night about 11:00 and there were four dances and four PL. As usual I was the only white person in the club. The girls looked to be in their 20's, all natural, with two hiding some baby damage and two not. None of the girls looked great, but not bad either. I talked to two girls when there. I can't remember the first girl's name, but Kalie was the second girl I talked to. She seemed to be about 5'8" (but could be off due to heals) with a slim build but still nice ass although her annoying voice was her most distinguishing feature. Kalie told me that her dances were $25 each but with a minimum of 6 dances. I told here that I would not do six dances and besides the that much time would result in an extra room charge as it was supposed to be $45/15 minutes in the VIP "room" (actually a booth with a curtain. I thought to myself but did not tell her that I am glad the girls at Candyland have realized they should not be charging $40/song that dancers at other clubs charge and dances at my last visit to Candyland wanted. So Kalie quickly dropped her minimum dance number to 4 which is about how long the room rental last anyway so I decided to give it a try.

Dance was OK. It was topless only, which I don't mind. She tried to upsell me on $200 for a special hand shake, but that was not what I was looking for. I have certainly had better dances in Candyland, and in Memphis in general, but I can't complain too much as she got the job done and was willing to help with cleanup. Soon after she/I finished the timer went off for 15 minutes. So maybe they do try and charge you more if you take longer than 15 minutes. Overall I paid $100 for four songs + $20 tip to the girl, and $20 cover + $45 VIP to the club

Overall dance prices were more reasonable this visit which makes this place a decent option compared to some of the other clubs in Memphis. Club has improved on the inside, but it is definitely not the high milage club it was before Covid.

Pro forma review in classic style edited from previous reviews. No need to read if you have been to the club, or even read previous reviews. Candyland is the smallest strip club I have entered in the US. It is probably about 30 ft x 25 ft in size. Parking is usually available right in front of the club. As you enter the owner/manager takes your money ($20), security pats you down, and you go through the curtain to the club room which has two small (stages, about 20 chairs (recently upgraded) on the sides of the room , with 3 small tables that are moved as needed, and there are three private dance booths with curtains separating them from the view of the main club. There are several flat screens showing porn, and one that is usually showing something else (NBA, or a Cinemax movie). In the VIP booth, the seating is not comfortable, but I did notice they have handles in the wall next to the seat for the dancer can hold on while grinding on the customer-- Nice touch. The men's room was clean enough, considering the general state of the club, not bad at all. Prices. $20 cover, a $45+ VIP admission fee, and a 10% tax on change for singles. No alcohol this time, but a coke was $2. Floor dances for "whatever you want to pay." maybe $10 on average, and they are mostly clothed (at least what passes for clothes here). The VIP dances were $25/song for the dancer plus the $45 VIP admission. In the VIP, it seemed the only club rules were no sex or oral sex, but the dancers vary on what they allow. No FIV, no bare grind/stripper slide, no mess on the girl are the most common No's I have encountered, but dancers vary with some having no additional rules. VIP is sometimes full nude (but sometimes not and that is something to confirm before buying), and it seemed that customer satisfaction was not guaranteed, but expected, as there were wet wipes available. It seemed that some girls did try to upsell for mild extras, but that seemed to vary with the dancer.
