Arrived in Roanoke at 6pm, after an invigorating rip down the Blue Ridge Parkway in the dark (not for the squeamish). A dude with a keychain through his ear processed my membership application and bid me "have fun in there". The club is funky, but in a good way. There is no alcohol served, just a meager selection of soft drinks. There were 11 strippers sitting on and around the bar, (four were outstanding, seven were not) and me. It was a good long time before any of them took the stage, and by this time, I had already gone upstairs with Ruby, a too-adorable blonde (and tall) who is working her way through college. Help her out. You will be glad you did. Private dances are $20., and very stimulating. All the girls were sweet and friendly (aren't Virginia girls the best?). This is probably going to be my home club, as there aren't any where I live.
