On a weeknight in early November, I stopped by the Penthouse with a friend of mine during a golf trip to Myrtle Beach. We arrived around 11pm. We had to pay the valet 5 bucks to park the car (just a pain in the ass) but were waved through with no cover charge. I hadn't been in the Penthouse for a few years as I was a NBHP connoisseur. I was pleasantly surprised with the renovations. The room was upscale and clean. The stage is totally different than before but a stage is a stage to me. Drinks were priced proportionally to the establishment. My club soda was 3 bucks. The talent was sparse with only 5 to 10 girls there. The girls were better than average in looks ranging from 6 to 9.5. I'm a specialist in that I prefer SKINNY, so anything over 110lbs will not rate above a 7. I was approached by a tall thin dancer that was a smokin' 9.5. After introductions and a brief chat I was asked if I wanted a couch dance. I said yes without hesitation. I was up sold on a two dance package for 60 bucks and asked by the dancer to tip the bouncer so he'd leave us alone. I was taken to a secluded back area that was very private and comfortable. The dance was basically hands on, but for some reason I was not permitted to massage the top. She bounced um all over everything else but no hands on there. I was told that the next level would afford me that opportunity and more for the bargain price of $$$. I declined for the moment, said "maybe later" enjoyed the dance and asked her to join me for a drink. After a nice 10 min. of her sitting on my lap with lots of friendly contact she pops up and tells me to tell her I like the song that's currently playing. I do, and then she starts to give me a table dance. She gives me two dances that I really didn't ask for and wants 40 more. I had no problem with the extra tip, I don't go looking for bargains, but a lesser dancer would not have gotten the tip.

If you're looking for up scale dancers at a little less than Masters prices, the Penthouse is an option. I'll stick to finding little jewels at Mermaids. I can't rate it higher than a 5 because of the table dance slight of hand
