I visited Diamond Cabaret around 8pm...

I visited Diamond Cabaret around 8pm on a recent weeknight. I paid the $10 cover and found a seat near the main stage -- actually two round stages, each with a dancer, connected by a long narrower platform that one dancer would walk along to dance for patrons sitting along side it. A third dancer was on another round stage near by, and there were few patrons. I declined the waitress's request to buy a drink, saving my $$ for tips.

For the first 20 minutes or so, I tipped a few dancers but wasn't impressed. Although all the dancers were decent-looking (I'd say in the 7-8 range), none seemed into their work. But on the third stage I saw a dancer giving a bit more personal attention to the two patrons seated there, so I moved to that stage, and things got better. The next three dancers interacted with me a fair bit more, although I didn't get the tits-in-the-face treatment that the other patrons got -- perhaps they were tipping major bucks.

The first of the three dancers explained her lap dance arrangement -- $20 per song, topless; for an extra tip she'd allow touching anything not clothed. And she exuded much sensuality, so I found myself getting very interested. But as she departed the stage she said she had something she had to take care of and she'd come see me in 30 minutes. The next dancer was also very sensual, but when I asked her about her rules for lap dances, she stated the club rules: only she can touch; I could not use my hands. The third dancer's rules were the same as the first, and she was available for a dance when she got off the stage, so off we went to the lap dance room.
