I went to Thee Doll House...

I went to Thee Doll House on Thursday. It is a place I have gone to a couple times before and is either a hit or a miss. Even the hits are not really something I would call that good.

First I will rate the pluses of the club. The professionalism from when you first enter at the door all the way to the waitresses and dancers is great. The doorman is always the same guy and he always greets you pleasantly. He offers to get you a table if you want one and once inside at your table they make sure a waitress comes over right away. When you leave they thank you for coming. Also if you look as though you are not enjoying yourself someone from the staff will come over and ask if there is anything you need or they can do. They will also ask if they can bring a girl over to you. This part they have right and in my opinion one of the best places to go in Myrtle Beach if you want to go for the service. Another plus is they have girls from out of state rotate in and out of the club during the golf seasons. This gives a lot of different variety and you never get the same one twice (unless she is a local girl).

Now for the minuses. First it is too smoky in there. They need to get some type of better ventilation system. When it is busy and you walk in, you feel like you walk into a smoked out building. It can be so bad that you can not even see the stage clearly because of all the smoke. Second the stage lights can be a blinding problem. Sometimes they have these lights on all around that rotate and bounce off these little mirrors which enhance there brightness. They hit you directly in the eyes, can be blinding, and I have not found anywhere to sit where it does not effect me. These are the same blinding lights you find in a dance club. If I wanted to go to a dance club I would not have come to a strip club. Now comes what I called the pricing problem. You can get a table dance for $10. Not much going to happen there. You can get a couch dance for $25 per song. Not much happening there either. Then they have a "tent" area which is more money, a champagne area which is even more money, and not much happening in either of those places. Then there is the VIP area, this is where the better action is suppose to be happening. This of course is even more money. You can rent the "VIP suites" by the half hour. It costs $50 per ever half hour rent. This is in line with every other club I have been to up and down the east coast. The problem lies in the price the girl wants. I will bring this prospective into a per hour basis which in this case the club fee would be $100. The girls can negotiate there own price. The club does not set it, but they do set a bottom price. The girls that I asked wanted between $600 and $800 PER HOUR!!! That price with the house charge comes to $700 to $900 PER HOUR and that is not given you FULL SERVICE!! The worst part is the girls are no better than a SIX!! In my opinion based on all the clubs I have been to from FLA all the way up to MASS these prices are way out of line. I found that most clubs I have been to, the average price is $500 per hour. Even locally with the other clubs like Masters and Centerfolds you will find that price for an hour VIP.
