Was passing through Springfield on a...

Was passing through Springfield on a business trip and wanted to evaluate the clubs. I didn't get to Center Stage but did get to Mardi Gras, 5th Alarm and the one right across the street from Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras looks like a club. Very big inside, nice decor. Bartenders (girls) were very nice. About 10:00 on a Monday night and not too crowded. Without that many people, it kind of lost some energy. The girls were attractive enough, but nothing stood out.

Then went to the one up the road which is much smaller and a bit more ghetto. Good news is that you could actually talk with the girls. Found out that all the clubs are now owned by the same owner. The smaller atmosphere was OK and the energy was pretty high all night. The girls weren't exactly all that attractive. Supposedly you can have more fun here, but there was nothing to get me that excited.
