After years as a regular at Tycoons I was curious to see if the renovation would make it difference. It didn't. The club is better designed, more spacious with a great deal more privacy in the VIP, which is now indivdual booths on both sides fo a long hallway. Plasma TV screens over the bar make it easier to keep up with sports. The day shift is lame. Only one dancer on stage at a time and the DJ has to remind them to get going. With the wonderful exception of Megan, the dancers are out of shape, lazy and pushy. If you decline the "wanna dance" routine, she will sit with you anyway and start buggin you to buy her drinks. Then her dancer buddies come over and they want drinks. It appears that the dancers are under pressure to push drinks in addition to earn income for themselves by dancing. Now the dancers have to pay the bouncer $5.00 for each trip to the VIP. So the dancers hope the customer will cover the VIP cover charge and they want a tip on top of that. Let's see a $20-25 dance, plus tip, plus $5 to the bouncer, drinks, door cover, valet parking, men's room attendant and ubiquitous shot girls who won't go away, you could be in for an expensive evening with fat dancers whining about lack of money. But the decor is nice and the food is at least above average.
