This club is so Portland. It's really a parody of itself, at this point. There are unattractive girls dancing (some exceptions, of course), it's small and dark and smoky, and overall has a very blue-collar feel to it. Last night there were two girls dancing when I was there and they have to feed the juke-box by themselves. Two drunk guys were play-fighting ("kung fu") and had to be asked to leave, so they staggered out eventually. Beer is cheap. A few couples can always be seen in here as well. Overall pretty shady, but you can tell your friends, "I've been to Mary's Club!" That's probably the best I can say for it.
