Tycoons recently remodeled completely inside and out. I stopped by Friday night and was surprised when the cashier at the door told me the cover charge was being waived but I could tip her what I chose to get in, what the heck, I gave her $5 and walked in. VIP parking is still the only way in. Inside, the stage is still in the center of the room, but a new tiered area of seats has been added to one side of the room. Still good sightlines from everywhere. A mixed racial group of new dancers now work there, the VIP room has been moved to where the old dancer's changing area is, not in back of the cashier in the front of the club where it used to be. I didn't get any lap dances this time, I was intimidated by the sight of what I perceived to be 8 bouncers working the club, so I can't yet say what it is like back in the VIP room. Beer was cheap, $3 for a bottle of Miller's Light. I'll stop back in some other time in a few weeks, to check it out again, but good luck to you guys. I like to have competition back in the East 8 Mile market, it makes the other clubs better to have to compete again.
