Visited Orchid about 1 week ago. I arrived late afternoon and the club was dead. There was a $10 cover and a beer cost $7. I only observed 4 dancers ranging from 5-7. There was a couple of guys with their girlfriends that weren't tipping or getting any dances. There were only a couple of other customers. I was seated at the bar and tipped a couple of the dancers on stage. No one else was stage tipping. One of the dancers that I tipped on stage joined me for a few minutes and excused herself and said that she would be back shortly. While she was gone I tipped another dancer on stage. I would rate her as a 5-6 with a little bit of a "sand to the bottom of the hour glass" figure. She then joined me at the bar. She was a good conversationlst. After some chat, I inquired about lap dances. I believe that I was quoted $20 for a dance at a "lit" candle table (they were next to the bar and very out in the open) or 2 for $60 in a darker more private part of the club. I opted for the latter. The dances were standard Reno and I had to keep my hands away.If we were monitered, it was from across the room. I was told that the club was busier at night. Over all I found that there are much better places to visit in Reno, at least afternoons. FG has no cover and $2 beers and a much better selection of dancers. The cover and relatively high drink prices and the relatively small selection of dancers, and the higher cost of dances is the reason for the 5 rating.
