I don't want to go off on a rant here, but the thanks for the current shitty state of BD's can be laid at the doorstep of the Bible thumpers, who care more about who or what gives you a boner than funding education, health care for the poor, etc. So clearly an influential holy roller (or a group of them) has convinced a Dallas politician that Baby Dolls must go, and they have the police trying to find a reason to shutter the place. So will the proud author of this policy please stand and be recognized, so we can learn the identity of the super-intellect who thinks that cracking down on lap dances is the best use of the police in a city with no shortage of crime? While you won't necessarily see the boys in blue at BD's, the bouncers have the same effect, and you don't have to be paranoid to get the feeling you're being watched. You are.
