The "Booby Trap" is an old Pompano Beach landmark on the strip club scene. It's a small, intimate club (with two private dance areas off the main floor), which does a moderate amount of business consisting mostly of locals & regulars. Music is mostly rock & roll or hip-hop, but mostly the good kind; i.e., not the "Bomp-Bomp-Bomp" pounding-bass ear-splitting, wrist-slitting, haus/club variety. The service is truly excellent, so the good news is you won't have trouble finding a seat or waiting for a drink. Also, the "Free Lunch" special is as advertised. It really is a FREE lunch, and the food is better than you might expect. In fact, the cheeseburger and fries is one of the best around (and it's free!).

This club has a fair-to-midland selection of entertainers working the day and mid-shifts, most of whom probably rate 6's or 7's. With the arrival of the night shift however (starting around 7:30 pm), the room-wide average easily jumps to 8, with the occasional 9 thrown in. A number of the entertainers are "older" (in terms of ITB, that is, not natural age), so you'll find some very savvy veterans mixed in amongst the newbies who will know exactly what they're doing. One guiding principal that has served me well in the past is simply this: Let her know what kind of guy you are, so she'll know what kind of girl to be. This can save considerable time and money and awkwardness, especailly if you're a rookie or one of those "nice guys" who's too polite too ask for what he wants before "we get to know each other."
