Visited the Hollywood Showclub yesterday, 9/27/2007. Arrived about 5:00 PM and avoided paying a cover charge. There is no cover until 7:00 PM.

Beer is $6/bottle and there is alot of pressure to continually buy drinks for the dancers. Most of the time if a dancer sits down with a customer, a waitress comes by within 15 seconds and ask if you would like to buy a drink for the dancer. Some of friends have told me that the owner has a rule that each patron is required a drink at least every 30 minutes. I have not had that happen to me but I have no reason to doubt my friends' word.

There were about 9 dancers working and they rotated among 3 stages. The quality of the dancers averaged about a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. The quality of the dancers has gradually declined over the past year or so. Many of the dancers have told me that the owner has many rules and imposes severe fines for seemiingly minor infractions. The dancers can apparently withstand such treatment for so long and they then move on. Many girls from this club have moved over the Pt's in Sauget.
