The Blockist has been pretty down...

The Blockist has been pretty down on the Flamingo for its "who cares" attitude and general dinginess.

Surprise! The old place is starting to look like it did back on the early nineties - attractive dancers (in large numbers), a grand reopening of the old back bar for VIP dances, and a resulting bigger crowd. The owner hired a new manager who really seems to have made a difference in staff attitude in just a few short weeks. Here are some of the details:

1) Lap dances by the record - $20 a song - in open booths along one side of the bar. These used to require a minimum of 3 songs for $60. Relatively low mileage, but reasonably priced for the cost-conscious consumer.
